EVE (Hannah Schooner)
Hannah Schooner is an actor, writer, and seamstress who recently graduated with a BFA in Musical Theatre from Molloy/CAP21 in May of 2022. Most recently, they originated the role of Vanessa in a staged reading of Rise! the Musical by Daniel Mckamey, and performed as Josh (Judy U/S) in their University’s production of 9-5. When they’re not on stage, they may be recording an audiobook, playing with their snake children, or playing Dungeons and Dragons either with their friends or for their podcast, Dungeons & Drimbus! THE SCIENTIST (John Bordeaux)
Dr. John Bordeaux is a senior policy researcher in the Washington, DC area, and since moving to the region in 1990, he has also participated in theater as an actor and technical volunteer. John is the author of CLEAR, his only play (now lying in shreds after professional feedback, it joins several half-finished works lying about the house). He recently completed a run as Daddy Cane in BRIGHT STAR for Reston (VA) Community Players, and other past favorite roles include Jesus in GODSPELL (Spindrift Players), David in TO GILLIAN ON HER 37TH BIRTHDAY and Jogger in I’M NOT RAPPAPORT (Burke Center Players), Humphrey Devise in THE LADY’S NOT FOR BURNING, Hal in ACCOMPLICE, and Dr. Scott in THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW (Elden Street Theater), and Tom Daley in THAT CHAMPIONSHIP SEASON (Rooftop Productions). He lives in Northern Virginia with his wife Janet, where most of his acting now involves playing the supporting role of Papa alongside the lead, Nana, for their five grandchildren.
ADAM (Michael Reisman)
Michael D. Reisman lives in Cold Spring, in NY's Hudson Valley. He's been an actor, director, playwright, stage manager and producer in various places, including American Conservatory Theatre, the Lincoln Center Theatre Directors’ Lab, Bellevue Hospital, and the Hudson Valley Performing Arts Laboratory (where he recently played Joey the Pizza Guy in Hawk’s Landing, a Zoom soap opera). He's working on The Memory Field, a full-length play about the unfinished business of a family and a country. He's also working on Lenny's Bar and Grill, a short play about Lenny, his bar and grill, and a visit from a long-lost pal.
PSYCHE (Catherine Skojec)
Based out of NYC, Catherine is an actor, singer, dancer, and dance instructor with a BA in Musical Theatre from SUNY Cortland. Her many credits include the national tour of The Wizard of Oz (Ensemble/Swing), step-kick-kick-leap-kick-touched in A Chorus Line (Maggie), as well as a variety of performances on stages from New Hampshire to Kansas. She most recently returned from relaunching the Disney Fantasy with Disney Cruise Lines, working as a performer (U/S Anna in Frozen, Ensemble in Aladdin, and Belle in Believe) and as the stage captain, helping to maintain the shows, put in new cast members, and rehearse future casts. EROS (Giancarlo Herrera)
Giancarlo Herrera is a stage, film, and voice actor whose recent works include Clue: Onstage (Wadsworth), My Mother’s Severed Head (Robert), Caravan (Argeaux), Primordial Deep (Spinner), and more. He also produces and usually DMs on the Dungeons & Drimbus improv comedy podcast, where you can hear him rolling dice and cracking jokes every Friday. JOSEPHINE (Kimberly Ferse)
Kim is a musical theatre artist with experience in performance, writing, and directing. She first “caught the bug” at age 9 as an orphan in Village Theatre’s production of ANNIE starring Megan Hunt, and more early main stage roles at Village followed. Later, as an adult, she has appeared with Open Circle, Secondstory Repertory, Bailiwick Repertory (Chicago) and many others. As a director, she helmed short plays for Appetite Theatre Company and Brown Couch Theatre Company in Chicago, Assistant-directed with James Bohnen for Remy Bumppo’s production of POWER (at Victory Gardens, Chicago), and studied directing with 2018 Tony winner David Cromer. As a writer, Kim has studied playwriting at Smith College with Andrea Hairston, at Gotham Writer’s Workshop (NYC) with Richard Caliban, and Sketch Comedy Writing with Kevin Allison at People’s Improv Theater (NYC). Her favorite project to date blended her love for both performance and writing, in cabaret troupe acts at Voltaire Supper Club in Chicago, where she wrote and performed, creating several memorable song parodies and sketches (her personal favorite: a raunchy “There’s No Place Like Home for the Holidays”). She is the writer and lyricist for ANGRY ANNIE: AN ORPHAN'S REVENGE, her first full-length musical, alongside contributing writer and lyricist Angela Mitchell and composer Phil Hinton.
NICHOLAS (Matt Lyman)
A Seattle-area native, Matt Lyman has been writing and performing for over 30 years. With a history of roles like Riff (West Side Story), Andre (Three Sisters), Booth (Assassins), Jack (Into the Woods), and Matt (The Marriage of Bette and Boo), Matt has loved putting on a number of different faces and being a number of different people. He lives just outside of Seattle with his wife and two daughters.
STAGE DIRECTIONS (Daniela Melgar)
Daniela Melgar's career includes a rich assortment of characters and performances, playing Titania in A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM, Masha in THREE SISTERS, Isabella in MEASURE FOR MEASURE, and Old Woman in HENRY VIII, all for Ghost Light Theatricals. She also played Char in the Lungfish Productions staging of BOXED, the Fortune Teller in EDMOND for Balagan Theatre, and Io in her self-produced production of GADFLY. She also appeared in several high-profile staged readings, from Isabel in BROWN LIKE ME to Itzel in UNTITLED (INSTITUTIONAL RACISM), both for Mirrorstage, to Moonglow in LAW OF UNIVERSAL GRAVITATION for Macha Monkey, Juanita in UNDER THE SKIN for the NW Playwrights Alliance, Angie in GROUND for the Mirror Stage Company, and Amal in SECRET SON for Book-It Repertory. She received a Master of Fine Arts in Acting from the California Institute for the Arts (Valencia, CA), and her trainers and teachers have included David Sweitzer (Showcase), Robbie Benson (Acting for the Camera), acting teachers Marissa Chibas, Travis Preston, Suzan Lori-Parks, and Ursula Meyer, as well as work with classical acting teachers Joan MacIntosh, James Winker, Amy Thone, and many more.
HOST (Richard Caliban)
Richard Caliban has worked as a playwright and director across the country and internationally. He was Artistic Director of critically acclaimed, award-winning Cucaracha Theatre where he wrote and directed many of his plays, including HOMO SAPIEN SHUFFLE at the Public Theatre; PERFORMANCE PIECE #27 (also at the Vineyard Theatre and the Ilkhom Theatre in Tashkent, Uzbekistan); FAMINE PLAYS (also at the Yale Cabaret, Triplex Theatre and Theatre of NOTE in L.A.); RODENTS & RODEOS (Best Play List 1990–Mel Gussow, New York Times); BUDD; and A VAST WRECK. Under Mr. Caliban’s directorship, Cucaracha received an Obie for its achievements as an emerging company. He has also led The Playwrights Group out of NYC since 2007.
PLAYWRIGHT (Angela D. Mitchell)
Fascinated lifelong by fantasy and myth, Angela is a writer, playwright, and lyricist whose plays include BETWEEN THE WISH AND THE LIFE, AGGRO, MISSING THE COMET, and THE BETRAYALS OF WOMEN, as well as contributing lyrics and dialogue to the musical ANGRY ANNIE: AN ORPHAN’S REVENGE. Her critically acclaimed works of published fiction include The Bridge, Falada, Dancing Days, and the short story collection The Betrayals of Women and Other Stories. Angela was the Performing Arts columnist for About.com (now LiveAbout/DotDash) for over four years, publishing dozens of features on stage lighting and tech, set design, stage management, props, stage makeup, writing, directing, and more, and her other features and columns have appeared in Writer's Digest, Women's Enterprise, The Fandomentals, Markee, Media Inc., eHow, and beyond. She helped to co-found the annual international December 4 gaming celebration Dragon Age Day in 2018 (raising over $50,000 for charity thus far), and is also a nationally recognized gaming columnist and blogger at DumpedDrunkandDalish.com.
